Flying Dove’s founder, Paloma Medina, believes that the most important aspect of a woman is her hair. Paloma is a spiritual person which influenced her to name her company Flying Dove. Doves represent love, strength, and beauty which embodies every woman. Her goal is to empower other women to find their confidence through her products.

Paloma’s hair journey started when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. When she started chemotherapy is when her hair journey initiated. Paloma’s hair soon began to fall out and she tried various hair extension products however, none of the products she found looked natural. She desired a wig that looked natural and made her feel beautiful again. After years of frustration she decided to create her own solution to her problem by developing her own 100% human hair extension and lace frontal. In 2012, Flying Dove was born, she started selling custom wigs to help other women feel confident in their own skin.

Entering 2019, Flying Dove has sold over 10,000 luxurious customized wigs.
